Terms of Service

Using Life Stories

• Life Stories is for adults 18 and older. Set it up only for someone who knows about it; Clara calls only once they say yes.
• Use it kindly: no harassment, and nothing that asks the storyteller for money, codes or personal account details.
• Clara is an AI interviewer. Chapters are written by an AI model from the calls and can get details wrong; you can fix names and dates in the app.

Seasons and Books

A season is bought once in the App Store or Google Play, and includes its calls, every chapter and recording, and one printed book. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from. Printing and shipping times depend on our printing partner.

Your Stories

The stories belong to the storyteller and their family. We use them only to run Life Stories. See the privacy policy for details. You can delete a storyteller, or your account, at any time.

No Warranty

Life Stories is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it. We may change or stop parts of the service, and will update these terms when we do.
